On November 26, FNC Entertainment announced that Lee Dong Gun will be the newest addition to the company. “We are expecting that Lee Dong Gun’s recruitment after Yoon Jin Seo will strengthen our acting side. We hope to become a multi-purpose entertainment that will have both very talented musicians and actors.”

On joining the family, Lee Dong Gun stated, “I’m very happy to become the newest family member of FNC Entertainment. I will greet all of you soon.”

Lee Dong Gun, best known for his roles in Lovers in Paris and Sweet 18, returned from the army in March. He has been searching for a new project and participating in events since then.



Lee Dong Gun Greets Fans and Wishes a Happy Chuseok 


On September 16, FNC Entertainment released a video with Lee Dong Gun saying hello to his fans and letting them know what he’s been doing since coming out of the army. He told fans to look forward to his upcoming drama as well as spend a wonderful Chuseok holiday with family.

Lee Dong Gun and Yun Eun Hye Share a Kiss


Lee Dong Gun and Yun Eun Hye got caught in the act while filming for KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare (Future Choice).

In previous episodes, Yun Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun’s characters, Na Mirae and Kim Shin were scene bickering and fighting after a small but fateful collision.

However, in recently revealed stills, it appeared that there may be no more contempt between each other as a love live in on the verge of blossoming.


The photos for episode 3 to air on October 21, Lee Dong Gun softly glances over at Yun Eun Hye in a patient’s outfit before landing a kiss on her lips.

Despite the future Mirae trying so hard to make this relationship not work in the past, with this new kiss scene, viewers are wondering if Na Mirae and Kim Shin are simply meant to be.

The scene was filmed on September 22 at a hospital in Incheon. As it was the first kiss scene of the drama, the two actors discussed it carefully before carrying it out perfectly in different angles within two hours, even creating a beautiful image. 



“Lee Dong Gun and Yun Eun Hye will lead the mystery in the love story with so many twists,” said Annex Telecom. “Please look forward to the passionate acting that the two actors will bring.


Marry Him If You Dare’ Lee Dong Gun Knows “Strong” and “Weak”

On KBS Monday/Tuesday drama "Marry Him If You Dare" (Script Hong Jin Ah, Director Kwon Kae Hong, Yoo Jung Sun) broadcast on October 28th at 10PM showed Lee Dong Gun shouting at Big Mirae (played by Choi Myung Gil) who tried to isolate him at the broadcasting"Do you like me?" hitting the nail on the head.
Moreover, he had been a 'bad boy' thus far and was acting like he was not paying attention to Na Mirae (played by Yoon Eun Hye) but had actually taken care of her in a detailed way, showing a new charisma.
Moreover, Kim Shin (played by Lee Dong Gun) showed a warm side as he was caring about the employees as the morning show that he was managing was cancelled because of him.
Through the last episode, he definitely showed a cold person that focused on principles, but showed that he had  a warm side.
Lee Dong Gun perfected the role of the soft yet cold and detail-oriented Kim Shin and started a second stage for him as an actor.

"Marry Him If You Dare" Yoon Eun Hye & Lee Dong Gun's Night Basketball Date


"Marry Him If You Dare" Yoon Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun enjoyed a romantic basketball date at night. 

Their basketball date was filmed in October 14, 2013, in a park in Daejun. In order to capture romantic and captivating scenes of the two playing a basketball game, the staff members had to film the two in a variety of angles. The two had to run around and jump at the goal. Albeit the tiring process, the two actors enjoyed filming the scene without looking exhausted at all.

Citizens of Daejun who had come out to take a walk in the park watched the two film. Regardless, the two were focused on filming, finishing the basketball scene in only two hours.


First Stills of Lee Dong Gun on the Set of Upcoming Drama “Future Choice” Released


On September 23, the first stills of Lee Dong Gun on the set of the upcoming KBS mini-series “Future Choice” (also known as “Mi Rae’s Choice”) were released.  KBS mini-series “Future Choice” follows the story of Na Mi Rae who is a bright, lovely call-center worker that one days meets her future self and decides to follow the advice of her future self to build a new life. 

Lee Dong Gun plays the role of announcer Kim Shin who is abrasive but principled.  When under stress or angered, the announcer resorts to cursing up a storm.  In the released stills, announcer Kim Shin had gone out to gather material for a morning show piece and ended up being doused with a bucket of water.  This particular shoot lasted over three hours, but staffers were impressed by how Lee Dong Gun threw himself into the role and gamely endured being repeatedly soaked with water to capture the right shots for the drama.     

Lee Dong Gun said, “With a great director and writer, awesome seniors and fellow actors, I am having such an interesting and fun time filming.  The script is so fun that, before I started filming, I had fallen completely into this world.  Now that filming has started, I can feel the reality of this world, and it is really interesting.  I am working hard so that viewers can also directly see this joy.  Please look forward to our first episode.”

"Marry Him If You Dare" Yoon Eun Hye found out her tragic future where Lee Dong Gun attempts to kill himself because of her.

Na Mi Rae (Yoon Eun Hye) on today's episode of KBS 2TV Monday Tuesday drama "Marry Him If You Dare" found out her tragic future through the conversation of Keun Mi Rae (Choi Myung Gil) and Na Joo Hyun (Oh Jung Sae).

On this day's episode, Keun Mi Rae, worrying about Kim Shin (Lee Dong Gun), said, "How do I tell him that he will die for me?"


Mi Rae, who was coming home, accidentally heard Keun Mi Rae and broke down onto the floor. Although she had known that a tragic event would happen if she married Kim Shin, she had not thought of an event this tragic.

Keun Mi Rae confessed to Mi Rae, "After getting ruined like that I was so exhausted. Starting from one day we only lived together but did not speak to each other. We were almost like strangers," confessing that her married life was not happy at all.


Keun Mi Rae added, "When I tell him how frustrated I am, he would ignore me and just wordlessly go into his room. I hated that. I hated that so much I screamed, 'If you are going to do this then just go out and die.' I still cannot forget his face when he turned back to face me. He left like that. and standing in the middle of the busy street he..." suggesting Kim Shin's suicide attempt.

Mi Rae, at this shocking news, broke down in tears feeling guilty. On the other hand, Kim Shin, who had been suffering from his breakup with Mi Rae, declared to leave YBS.

Actor Lee Dong Gun's performance in "Marry Him If You Dare" is garnering the audiences' attention.

Lee Dong Gun's agency, FNC Entertainment posted a picture of him in the filming scene of KBS 2TV drama, "Marry Him If You Dare."

Lee Dong Gun in the picture is filming the drama in an outdoor scene. Although in the picture he had to lower his body for the reflector, he seems to present the perfect facial expressions and gaze.



Actors Lee Dong Gun and Yoon Eun Hye were spotted in the filming scenes of KBS2 drama, "Marry Him If You Dare."


Lee Dong Gun plays a stubborn news reporter Kim Shin, and Yoon Eun Hye plays the youngest script writer of the team, Na Mi Rae.

A behind story photos of Lee Dong Gun and Yoon Eun Hye were released, which describes the two's compatibility off the camera.

In the previous eighth episode, Kim Shin tracked Se Ju down, feeling suspicious of his background.

Lee Dong Gun Wants to Sing on Stage Again Someday 


Actor Lee Dong Gun confessed that he dreams of getting back on the stage as a singer again.

While filming the first episode of reality drama Cheongdamdong 111airing on November 21, a conversation came up between Lee Dong Gun, CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa and FNC Entertainment CEO, Han Sung Ho, after playing a round of field golf.


Jung Yong Hwa asked Lee Dong Gun, “Why did you choose to work with FNC entertainment, when it’s known to work mostly with singers?”

“I thought that if I could help out a company when it’s trying to expand, it could be beneficial to both of us,” replied the actor.

But he surprised everyone when he added, “But the most important reason is because I want to go back to being a singer again someday.”

Lee Dong Gun had debuted as a singer in 1998 with the song Hoping my Wishes Reach Heaven, but gained more success as an actor later on.

On the episode of KBS 2TV "Mirae's Choice" (script Hong Jin Ah, director Kwon Kae Hong) broadcast on November 25th, Na Mirae (played by Yoon Eun Hye) learns of the tragic future of Kim Shin (played by Lee Dong Gun) and sheds tears.

After hearing the cold farewell from Kim Shin, she hears from Big Mirae (played by Choi Myung Gil) that she pushes Kim Shin to death and this shocking piece of news pushes her to tears.


In the drama, Na Mirae was getting exhausted from Kim Shin who was trying not to talk to her and wasn't even looking at her.  Coincidentally, she runs into Kim Shin in front of the elevator at the broadcasting company and says, "It's uncomfortable, right?" and tries to initiate conversation but Kim Shin said, "Ask Park Se Ju (played by Jung Yong Wha) to transfer you to a department.  That's nothing right?" and this mocking tone hurt Mirae.

At this, Mirae turned pale and looked at Kim Shin with a hurt look but Kim Shin was cold until the end.  Afterward, the two were carrying on a meeting for a new years special but they were cold to each other and were very professional as they grew distance.

Mirae who was returning after being exhausted preparing for a new years special coincidentally hears Big Mirae saying to Joo Hyun (played by Oh Jung Se), "I really didn't want to sy everything to that extent.  How am I going to tell her that he dies because of me" and starts to quietly confess, and Mirae was shocked.

Big Mirae says to Na Mirae, "One day, I was going back in the room and I just started to hate him. I hated him so much I just yelled, 'If you're going to be like this, just go and die.'  I can't forget the expression on his face.  He looked like he was laughing and maybe like he was crying and left like that.  And just like that on the street, he was hit by a car" as she revealed her decret.

Mirae was surprised at this fact that she didn't expect and said, "I do that. Such horrible things" with a shaky voice and said, "What am I going to?  I feel so sorry for Anchorman Kim" and started to bawl.

One of the hottest actor in Korea Lee Dong Gun recently had a photo shoot and interview for a fashion magazine Cosmopolitan! Would you believe that he is still a bachelor? Every girl would want him as a boyfriend..

On his photo, he leaves his usual gentleman image for a more geeky but still adorable looking man!


He also had an interview for the magazine and shared about returning to television after about five years which he played a role on "Future Choice," "I felt that it was a pity that the show was not as well-received as expected, but I don't have any regrets because I did my best to portray anchor Kim Shin."

He also open up saying, "If someone I like appears, I will date openly, for the sake of the other person."
